1. Course title: Bachelor of Education Program in Social Studies

4. Course objectives: To produce graduates who
4.1 Have knowledge and ability in line with quality benchmarks set by The Teachers Council of Thailand; have a positive attitude; have a moral outlook on work; have theoretical and practical expertise in academic and professional life; and have expertise in teaching social studies, religion, and culture.
4.2 Have knowledge, ability and skill in language and information technology.
4.3 Have the wisdom to integrate knowledge and skills in the field of social studies education with local wisdom.
4.4 Have a results-orientated approach; and have the skills and desire to pursue academic- and self-improvement to keep abreast of social and global changes.
4.5 Have qualities appropriate for their careers; have a positive outlook and attitude; have faith in their profession; have sound morals; have a public-spirited approach to life; and have the ability to analyze social issues based on reason, ethics, and knowledge.
4.6 Have an interest in social phenomena and productively participate in society for the benefit of the community and for wider society and to maintain the fundamental social institutions.
5. Curriculum:
5.1 Total credits: Not fewer than 166 credits in total.
5.2 The curriculum is separated into the following subjects:
5.2.1 General education totaling not fewer than credits 30 and comprised of
5.2.1.1 Languages and communication studies 12-15 credits
5.2.1.2 Humanities 3-9 credits
5.2.1.3 Social studies 3-9 credits
5.2.1.4 Mathematics, sciences and technology 6-9 credits
5.2.2 Specialist education totaling not fewer than 130 credits comprised of
5.2.2.1 Professional training totaling not fewer than 52 credits and comprised of
5.2.2.1.1 Compulsory modules 33 credits
5.2.2.1.2 Optional modules Not fewer than 5 credits
5.2.2.1.3 Practical modules 14 credits
5.2.2.2 Core modules in the major totaling not fewer than 78 credits and comprised of
5.2.2.2.1 Mandatory core modules 54 credits
5.2.2.2.2 Optional core modules 14 credits
5.2.2.2.3 Teaching 6 credits
5.2.2.2.4 Additional core modules Not fewer than 4 credits
