4. Course objectives: To produce graduates who
4.1 Have knowledge and ability in mathematics and the teaching of mathematics in both practical and theoretical aspects.
4.2 Have personal qualities appropriate for their careers; have a positive outlook on and an ethical approach to the profession; have sound morals; and have a comprehensive understanding of the nature of learners and learning.
4.3 Have a positive approach to learning; and have a commitment to life-long learning and self-development to keep current with developments in society and in the field of mathematics.
4.4 Have the ability to find knowledge for themselves; have skills in managing learning; and have the ability to combine knowledge, local wisdom and information technology in developing themselves, their work, and the community.
